Rejahn received her BSN, MSN, and DNP from University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has over 25 years of NICU experience in Level IV surgical, ECMO, and dialysis facilities as well as Level II and III delivery facilities. She obtained national certification in 2004 as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. Most recently she has expanded her clinical presence, also working in a consulting role for APPs focusing on enhancing provider work flow strategies. Rejahn has also had the opportunity to provide significant contributions to unit development, including transition of a delivery nursery into a Level II NICU, a Neuro-NICU, and a “Tiny Baby” NICU across multiple states in prestigious academic facilities nationwide.
Sarah Alice is a Florida native, born and raised in Central Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Linguistics before serving in the US Navy as a Persian-Farsi Cryptologist. After her military service she moved to Jacksonville Florida where she attended UNF’s Accelerated BSN Program. She went on to attend Duke University’s esteemed MSN program and is a PNCB board certified pediatric nurse practitioner. Sarah has been an APRN for over 5 years, with experience spanning primary care to pediatric ICU. She currently serves both Lakeland Regional Health’s pediatric Hospitalist and PICU service.
Jonathan R. Candelaria, MSN, RN is a pediatric critical care nurse with clinical experience in the pediatric intensive care unit, pediatric emergency department, and as a pediatric ECMO specialist. In addition to his bedside practice, he holds a nursing leadership role with a focus on staff development and mentorship, quality improvement, and systems-based patient safety. His professional interests include advancing pediatric care through evidence-based practice, interprofessional collaboration, and the promotion of high-reliability healthcare systems to better serve the community.
Isabel is a neonatal/pediatric nurse with experience in level III NICU and pediatrics across various settings. She has worked in peds home health, school nursing, and med-surg with experience caring for children with trachs, vents, DKA, and other critical care needs. Additionally, she has worked as a simulation nurse, instructing medical students in performing assessments and skills. Currently, Isabel is pursuing her DNP at Washington State University to become a pediatric nurse practitioner.
